Frank joined Alex Kaar in 2006 and is currently a partner and senior member of the Alex Kaar regional leadership team.  As national head of accounting and finance, Frank is responsible for leading national and state based search assignments in industries including financial services, property and infrastructure, professional services, utilities and resources. 

Frank’s broad consulting experience enables him to advise some of Australia’s leading ASX listed businesses on talent management and sourcing strategies as well as facilitating key search assignments for executive finance professionals, adopting a consultative style with a focus on delivering on client expectations. 

Prior to joining Alex Kaar Frank was Victorian leader of the accounting profession practice at a publicly listed national recruitment agency, where he focused on senior level accounting recruitment in both the accounting profession and in industry.  Frank managed key accounts and assumed the role of primary relationship manager for national accounts.  In addition he was also involved in leading search assignments for private and ASX listed clients.

Before his career transition into recruitment Frank commenced his career as a corporate tax advisor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).  He worked in the tax & legal services team for six years, and was promoted to tax manager in the corporate tax team.  Frank has had extensive chartered accounting experience and hence has a solid understanding of the required skills for varied accounting roles.   As key client account manager for many of PwC’s multinational accounts, Frank managed delivery of services from multiple service lines and liaised with senior finance professionals and executive management in his dealings with clients.

Frank completed a bachelor of law and bachelor of commerce at Monash University and has also undertaken a graduate diploma of taxation law and maintains an active involvement in the professional services sector.
