Kelly Zander

Kelly Zander commenced her recruitment career in1998, following extensive travel and work within the banking industry throughout Europe, Asia and North America.  Having graduated with a Bachelor of Marketing and Tourism, Kelly initially joined Hays Personnel, UK in a role focused on raising awareness of the international candidate management program.  Based in London, she was responsible for driving the development of candidate attraction strategies through identification of talent, career seminars and facilitating the international recruitment of qualified accountants and specialised banking candidates.

In 2000, Kelly transferred back to Melbourne through Hays Personnel, starting up a desk in Financial Services interim contract and permanent recruitment.  As a Business Manager, she built on some major accounts and portfolios, also being instrumental in the successful establishment of a new division.

Kelly took on the opportunity to join HJ&B Group in 2003 as Principal and Manager, charged with building the capabilities of the banking team.  This involved strategic alignment with an extensive client list of both Australian and International financial services companies spanning across investment banking, funds management, superannuation and stockbroking.  In addition to coaching and development responsibilities of the team, Kelly took on the role of National Account Manager to two major accounts.

Kelly joined Alex Kaar as a Principal and executive search specialist in Banking and Financial Services. 

She will continue to provide clients and candidates with consulting advice, industry expertise and value added service.
