Emma Kimberley joined Alex Kaar at the beginning of 2008 as a partner and is the national head of the technology practice. Emma provides high level consultancy to a range of clients and the delivery of senior level executive appointments utilising her extensive networks and experience in the IT arena.

Emma specialises in recruiting senior and executive level technology roles in areas including CIO, transformation, strategy, architecture, program & projects and delivery as well as senior contracting and consulting assignments. Emma has enjoyed significant success in delivering outcomes to clients in some of Australia’s leading corporations within financial services, consulting and professional services, telecommunications, FMCG, retail, industrial, energy and government sectors.

Emma commenced her recruitment career in 1997. At a leading international IT & T recruitment agency she developed a specialisation in the IT&T recruitment market concentrating on delivering talent to customers while managing a large IT recruitment team.  In 2003 Emma joined a leading ASX listed recruitment firm as manager, technology to start up their technology division in Melbourne and successfully grew the contract and permanent technology team. At the beginning of 2006 Emma joined an international executive search and selection firm as a principal consultant specialising in recruiting senior and executive level technology professionals predominantly within the financial services, utilities, retail and consulting industries.
