Emma McTaggart joined Alex Kaar as a Partner and is the National Head of the Technology. Emma provides high level consultancy to a range of clients and the delivery of senior level executive appointments utilising her extensive networks and experience.

Emma commenced her recruitment career in 1997 after completing a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance. In 1999 Emma joined a leading international IT & T Recruitment agency. Emma developed a specialisation in the IT&T recruitment market concentrating on delivering talent to customers while managing a large IT&T recruitment team.  Emma has enjoyed significant success in delivering outcomes to clients across the financial services, consulting and professional services, telecommunications, FMCG, retail, industrial, energy and government sectors.

In 2003 Emma joined Hamilton James and Bruce as Manager, Technology to start up their technology division in Melbourne and subsequently successfully grew the contract and permanent technology team. At the beginning of 2006 Emma joined Talent2 as a Principal Consultant with a specialisation in recruiting senior and executive level technology professionals predominantly within the financial services, utilities, retail and consulting industries. Her clients include some of Australia's leading corporations within banking, insurance, energy, retail, funds management and professional services.
